Christopher Werner
Principal Consultant & CEO
Chris has over two decades of experience supporting Indigenous communities in Canada, including work in traditional land use studies, environmental assessments, community consultation, and land advisory services. With a background in Geography and GIS, he regularly works in multidisciplinary settings alongside consultants, legal teams, and government officials.

Roxane Gratton
Senior Program Manager
Roxane holds an undergraduate degree in Environmental Design and a Master of Landscape Architecture. She brings over a decade of experience supporting land‑related communication, consultation, and project coordination, working closely with CWC clients to deliver clear writing, visual documentation, and program management support.

Jennifer Bergen
Community Facilitator
Jennifer completed an undergraduate degree in Environmental Design with a focus in Landscape Architecture and Urbanism. Her experience working in urban and remote communities has encouraged her to think critically about environmental and social justice, working towards creating inclusive and welcoming environments. Within CWC, she works with clients to coordinate projects, and offers skills in community engagement and running facilitated workshops.

Stephen Taubner
GIS Visualization Specialist
Stephen completed undergraduate degree in Geography, focusing on Urban Systems and Land Use. Coming from a background in digital communications and live event production, they are well versed in adapting to changing situations within projects and evolving digital landscapes. Within CWC, they specialize in cartographic design, event coordination, GIS and IT solutions, as well as videography.

Joshua Desgagnés
GIS Data Engineer
As a GIS Data Engineer at CWC, Joshua builds, develops, and maintains map-based databases, web apps, and data systems for both internal operations and client projects. His work includes creating and maintaining systems and workflows that improve how information is managed and used across organizations, using his background in coding, systems analysis and data management.

Chris Redekop
Growth and Marketing Manager
With over a decade of experience in marketing and communications, project management, and client relationship management, Chris has successfully led complex projects from concept to execution across multiple industries with large stakeholder groups. His background in video production, combined with certified management and operational leadership, enables him to align creative vision with strategic objectives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with measurable impact.

Anabella Perez
Environmental Sciences, Summer Student
Anabella is entering her fourth year in the Environmental Science program at the University of Manitoba. Her experience includes multiple summers with the Centre for Earth Observation Science, where she contributed to Arctic Ocean research through hands-on field and research work. She is also a Verna J. Kirkness Education Foundation Program Scholar and Alumni, reflecting her leadership and commitment to advancing Indigenous participation in science. Anabella brings passion for the environment, research experience, and academic excellence to her role, contributing to environmental stewardship and community-based knowledge initiatives.

Lea Rempel, MCP, MCIP, RPP
Senior Planner
Lea Rempel is a registered professional planner with experience across both municipal and private sector environments, including roles with the City of Coquitlam, and with agency level consulting. Her work spans development planning, land use policy, stakeholder engagement, and urban design, with a strong focus on guiding projects from early concept through approvals.
As a trusted project partner to CWC, Lea brings a collaborative approach and a thoughtful, practical perspective to complex planning initiatives, regularly working alongside multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and government agencies.

Teena Legris
Senior Communications Advisor
Teena Legris is a senior communications strategist and storyteller with more than 20 years of experience supporting Indigenous organizations, government, public health, and community-led initiatives across Canada. She specializes in Indigenous engagement, strategic communications, and culturally grounded storytelling that builds trust, strengthens relationships, and drives meaningful impact. Teena brings expertise in campaign development, creative direction, and stakeholder engagement, helping organizations translate complex issues into clear, authentic, and compelling narratives.

Riley Martin
Videographer
Riley is a visual storyteller with years of experience helping organizations capture authentic moments and meaningful narratives. His work spans photography, video, and digital content creation, with a focus on bringing out the real energy and purpose behind each project. As a trusted project partner to CWC, Riley brings a calm, reliable presence and a highly collaborative approach. He works as an extension of the team, supporting everything from events and community initiatives to branded content, delivering clear communication, quick turnaround, and consistently high-quality results.

Florence Hamilton
Cultural Navigator
Florence guides cultural direction on CWC projects. A proud Sayisi Dene woman from Churchill, Manitoba, she is committed to preserving and sharing Indigenous culture. At CWC, Florence focuses on developing programming through an Indigenous lens, grounding experiences in Indigenous knowledge, values, and perspectives. She integrates storytelling, cultural teachings, and hands-on practices to create meaningful, culturally informed programming that fosters understanding and connection.
